About Verde Mining

Verde Mining started in the field.

We built and operated our own natural-gas-powered bitcoin mining sites in Texas. We sourced gas, sized generators, selected miners, ran the day-to-day operations. We dealt with blown engines, bad gas, equipment failures, and everything else that comes with running a live site.

First we made the expensive mistakes. Then got to a point where we operated with over 98% uptime over 4+ years.

Along the way, operators started asking us how we did it. Oil and gas producers who were flaring gas or selling it for pennies. Bitcoin miners looking for cheaper, more reliable power. Investors trying to evaluate deals they didn't fully understand.

They all had the same problem: they couldn't find anyone who had actually done it and was willing to help them do it too.
